I’m Laura. I’m a parent, writer, educator and active transportation advocate in Minneapolis, MN.

I own and run Laura Groenjes Mitchell Consulting LLC, where I offer a variety of consulting services for learning and development, community engagement and active mobility.

I’m the founder of the Minneapolis Cargo Bike Library – a community resource providing FREE cargo bike rentals to Minneapolis residents! Our goal is to ensure folks have the knowledge, skills and resources to safely and confidently replace car trips.

I’ve been the Board President at Our Streets for 3 years, where we’re working to transform transportation in the Twin Cities to make walking/biking/rolling/public transit easy and comfortable for everyone.

I’m a League Certified Instructor and Advocate through the League of American Bicyclists and lead group rides, Smart Cycling and other bike education to all ages.
